In 1996, after touring several modular home factories, Pengrove Building Systems, Inc. was chosen for their high standards, high quality, affordability, reputation and the fact that Phil would be able to custom design homes which Pengrove would build per our drawings. It was then that Phil decided to embark on a new venture. He also realized that there was a need for personalized service for each customer. Instead of overwhelming customers with sales people and numerous house plans, Phil decided to use his ability to work with either the customers drawings, Pengrove's drawings, a mix of both, or start a drawing from scratch after meeting with each customer personally. The main reasoning behind this philosophy is that every home should be as unique as the customer who builds it. It was then the decision was made to expand the business and venture into custom modular homes. After working with numerous customers, designing custom homes, the company began to grow and in 2002 the company name was changed and the company was incorporated. The result was Diamond Cut Construction & Development Inc.
